Item 5.02 - Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
(c) On March 3, 2016, Carver Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”), the holding company of Carver Federal Savings Bank (the “Bank”), announced that the Boards of Directors of the Company and the Bank appointed Christina L. Maier as Chief Financial Officer of the Company and the Bank, effective March 7, 2016. Ms. Maier comes to the Company from Patriot National Bancorp, Inc. where she had served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since 2013. Prior to her time with Patriot National Bancorp, Inc., Ms. Maier spent over a decade in leadership positions at other financial institutions, including Provident New York Bancorp and Hudson United Bancorp.
The Company’s press release announcing Ms. Maier’s appointment is attached hereto as exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
