Item 8.01 Other Events.

 

On February 29, 2016, ConforMIS, Inc. (the “Company”) filed a lawsuit against Smith & Nephew, Inc. (“Smith & Nephew”) in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts Eastern Division.  The lawsuit alleges that Smith & Nephew’s products infringe eight of the Company’s U.S. patents, and seeks monetary damages and a permanent injunction.
