Item 8.01 Other Events.
On March 1, 2016, Chatham Lodging Trust (the "Company") issued a press release announcing that its board of trustees had voted to raise the monthly common dividend 10 percent from $0.10 to $0.11, which translates to an annual run rate of $1.32 per common share. The Company declared a monthly common share dividend of $0.11 for March 2016, which is payable April 29, 2016, to shareholders of record on March 31, 2016.
