META FINANCIAL GROUP, INC.® DECLARES CASH DIVIDEND

(Sioux Falls, South Dakota – February 23, 2016) Meta Financial Group, Inc. ® (the “Company”) (NASDAQ: CASH) announced that the Company will pay a cash dividend of $0.13 per share for the second fiscal quarter of 2016. This dividend will be payable on or about April 1, 2016 to shareholders of record as of March 8, 2016.

At December 31, 2015, the Company had total assets of $3.0 billion and shareholders’ equity of $289.5 million.

Corporate Profile: Meta Financial Group, Inc.® (the “Company”) is the holding company for its wholly-owned subsidiary, MetaBank® (the “Bank”). The Bank is a federally-chartered savings bank which operates ten full-service branch banking offices in four market areas in Iowa and South Dakota: Northwest Iowa, Brookings, Central Iowa, and Sioux Empire, one non-retail service branch in Memphis, Tennessee, and three non-branch offices located in Texas, California and Kentucky related to the Bank's AFS/IBEX and Refund Advantage operations.
