On January 29, 2016, Crossroads Systems, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the Patent Trial and Appeal Board of the United States Patent and Trademark Office issued five decisions in the inter partes review proceedings initiated against two of the Company’s patents (U.S. Patent Nos. 6,425,035 and 7,051,147) related to technology the Company considers fundamental to secure and efficient access to network storage systems. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated by reference herein.
