Peter D. Goodson has notified Goodrich Petroleum Corporation (the “Company”) in a letter to Walter G. Goodrich, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, dated January 17, 2016, of his intention to resign from his position on the Board of Directors of the Company (the “Board”) due to health reasons. His resignation was not due to any disagreement with the Company regarding any matter related to the Company’s operations, policies or practices. Mr. Goodson’s resignation is effective as of January 19, 2016. He has served on the Board since 2011.

On January 21, 2016, the Company issued a press release announcing the resignation of Mr. Goodson from the Board. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
