On January 20, 2016, Canadian Pacific Railway Limited (“Canadian Pacific”) issued a news release announcing that it has released a white paper showing how CP's proposed combination with Norfolk Southern Corp. will alleviate congestion in the key rail hub of Chicago. A copy of Canadian Pacific’s news release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
