On January 19, 2016, Vertex Energy, Inc. (the “Company”, “we” and “us”) filed a press release which contained a letter to shareholders highlighting the Company's assessment of 2015, expectations for 2016, and long-term view. A copy of the press release is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1.
