Retirement of Executive Officer. On January 15, 2016, Samuel G. Stone, Executive Vice President of Corporate Finance and Strategic Planning of Mercantile Bank Corporation and its wholly-owned banking subsidiary, Mercantile Bank of Michigan, retired. Mr. Stone has served in those roles since the merger with Firstbank Corporation in June of 2014. Prior to that time, he served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Secretary and Treasurer of Firstbank Corporation.
