Item 8.01 Other Events.
On January 12, 2016, the board of directors of First Busey Corporation (the "Company") declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.17 per share on the Company's common stock. The dividend will be paid on January 29, 2016 to shareholders of record as of January 22, 2016.
