| (a) | On December 31, 2015, Stephanie Sonnabend retired from her position as Director of Century Bancorp, Inc. (the “Company”). Ms. Sonnabend, 62, has been a director of the Company since 1997. Ms. Sonnabend is principal of Son Hospitality Consulting. She is former CEO, President and Director of Sonesta International Hotels Corporation. |
