Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.
On January 4, 2016, Ambac Financial Group, Inc. ("Ambac") issued a press release announcing the Board of Directors of Ambac has appointed Nader Tavakoli to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of Ambac. Mr. Tavakoli also remains a Director of Ambac. Mr. Tavakoli had been serving as Interim President and Chief Executive Officer of Ambac since January 2015 and has been a Director since 2013.
A copy of the press release is filed herewith and attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
