Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers
On December 14, 2015, the Company announced the appointment of current Chief Operating Officer of Utilities, Linden R. Evans, to President and Chief Operating Officer, effective January 1, 2016. Mr. Evans, age 53, has 14 years of service with the Company, most recently serving as President and Chief Operating Officer of Utilities since 2004. David R. Emery, who has served as Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer since 2004, will continue as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. No changes were made in Mr. Evans’ compensation package at this time.
