Item 8.01 Other Events.
WSI Industries, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release on December 14, 2015 announcing that it will release its fiscal 2016 first quarter financial results on December 21, 2015 at 12:30 PM Central time prior to its Annual Meeting. The Company hereby furnishes the press release, which is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1. The Company issued a second press release announcing Tom Schmeling as Director of Business Development and Marketing. The Company hereby furnishes the press release, which is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.2.
