Item 8.01. Other Information.
On December 14, 2015, JAVELIN Mortgage Investment Corp. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors has approved $2.1 million in corporate expense reductions and authorized the Company to expand its existing share repurchase program to allow the Company to repurchase an aggregate of 2 million shares of common stock. The timing, manner, price, and amount of any repurchases will be at the discretion of the Company, subject to the requirements of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and related rules. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by this reference.
