Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers
On December 14, 2015, First Financial Northwest, Inc. (the “Company”), its financial institution subsidiary, First Savings Bank Northwest (“Bank”), and its non-financial institution subsidiary, First Financial Diversified Corporation (“FFD”), announced that Director Kathleen Smythe, Ph.D., had passed away unexpectedly on December 11, 2015. Ms. Smythe had served as a director of the Company, the Bank and FFD since August 21, 2015. Although Ms. Smythe served as a director for only a short time, she will be greatly missed.
