Item 8.01 Other Events.
On December 4, 2015, Halcón Resources Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the early tender results of the Company’s ongoing exchange offer to certain eligible holders of its 9.75% Senior Notes due 2020, 8.875% Senior Notes due 2021 and 9.25% Senior Notes due 2022 for up to $150 million of a new issue of 12.0% Senior Secured Notes due 2022.
A copy of the press release is filed herewith as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
