Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.
On December 2, 2015, Alan Shaw, Executive Vice President Marketing and Chief Marketing Officer for Norfolk Southern Corporation, spoke at the Credit Suisse Industrials Conference in Palm Beach, Florida. At the conference, Mr. Shaw provided an update on the Corporation’s fourth quarter performance, including an update to the Corporation's previous guidance that it expected to transport 20 million tons of utility coal during the fourth quarter of 2015, explaining that the Corporation expects to transport 1-2 million fewer tons, due to mild weather.
