(b) Departure of director
On November 20, 2015, Robert B. Carter informed management of First Horizon National Corporation of his intention to depart from the Board of Directors of the Company. On November 21, 2015, Mr. Carter submitted his written resignation. The resignation was effective immediately. Mr. Carter’s decision was related to his acceptance of an outside director position with another organization, and was not due to any disagreement with the Company’s management on any matter.
