Item 8.01 Other Matters.  

On November 9, 2015, Stifel Financial Corp. (the “Company”) announced it entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Eaton Partners, LLC, one of the largest independent, partner-owned global fund placement and advisory firms. A copy of the press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and is incorporated by reference.
