Item 7.01. Regulation FD Disclosure.
Monitronics International, Inc. (“Monitronics”) is furnishing herewith certain information regarding its operations (including updated information related to its pool attrition curve). Ascent Capital Group, Inc., the parent company of Monitronics, had previously furnished similar information to the Securities and Exchange Commission in its Current Reports on Form 8-K on February 6, 2012 and November 18, 2014. By furnishing this information, Monitronics is not undertaking to update this disclosure periodically or at all, and no assurance can be given that Monitronics will choose to provide any such update in the future.
The information in this Current Report on Form 8-K and the attrition information attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 are being furnished to the SEC under Item 7.01 of Form 8-K in satisfaction of the public disclosure requirements of Regulation FD and shall not be deemed “filed” for any purpose.
