(b) On October 19, 2015, Linda Bain, the Chief Financial Officer of Avalanche Biotechnologies, Inc. (the “Company”), provided notice of her intention to resign from the Company effective November 17, 2015 to pursue a new career opportunity. The Company is in the process of commencing an external search for its next Chief Financial Officer.
