On October 7, 2015, Career Education Corporation (the “Company”) implemented several leadership changes in connection with the Company’s transformation strategy. Jason Friesen, Senior Vice President and Chief University Education Officer, and Lysa Clemens, Senior Vice President, Transitional Operations and Chief Transformation Officer, will be leaving the organization effective October 16, 2015. The Company thanks Mr. Friesen and Ms. Clemens for their dedicated service to our schools.
On October 13, 2015, the Company issued a press release announcing these and other management changes. A copy of the release is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1.
