Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On October 6, 2015, Louis G. Lange, M.D., Ph.D., a member and chairman of the Board of Directors of CymaBay Therapeutics, Inc., resigned as a director, effective immediately. Also on October 6, 2015, the CymaBay Board of Directors appointed Robert J. Wills, Ph.D., as Chairman of the Board and Chairman of the Compensation Committee, effective immediately.
