| Item 1.01. | Entry Into a Material Definitive Agreement. |
Effective September 25, 2015, Franklin Synergy Bank (the “Bank”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Franklin Financial Network, Inc., and Century Skanska (the “Contractor”) entered into that certain Standard Form of Agreement between Owner and Contractor (the “Agreement”), an agreement providing for construction and design services to expand the Bank’s headquarters, located in Franklin, Tennessee. Construction on the Bank’s headquarters is expected to be completed during the first quarter of 2016. The Agreement provides for initial payments to the Contractor of $1,210,052.00, with such additional payments as may be required under the Agreement.
