Item 8.01 — Other Events
The Board of Directors of Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Corporation has approved a share repurchase program, authorizing, but not obligating, the repurchase of up to an aggregate amount of $15,000,000 of its common stock from time to time through December 31, 2016. The registrant expects to acquire shares primarily through open market transactions, subject to market conditions and other factors.
A copy of the press release issued by the registrant on September 11, 2015 is attached to this current report on Form 8-K as Exhibit 99.1.
