Item 8.01. Other Events.
On September 8, 2015, Registrant issued a news release announcing that the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York has granted a motion for summary judgment in favor of Registrant’s wholly-owned subsidiaries, Tiffany and Company and Tiffany (NJ) LLC, in their lawsuit against Costco Wholesale Corp. for trademark infringement, false designation of origin and unfair competition, trademark dilution and trademark counterfeiting. A copy of the news release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K.
