Item 8.01. Other Events.
The Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Intercept Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (the “Company”) has set the date for the Company’s 2015 Annual Meeting of Stockholders (the “Annual Meeting”). The Annual Meeting will be held on November 24, 2015 at 9:00 a.m., Eastern time. The Board has set the close of business on October 9, 2015 as the record date for determining stockholders entitled to receive notice of and to vote at the Annual Meeting.
