On August 19, 2015, Soligenix, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release to announce that the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases has exercised its option for contract #HHSN272201400039C to provide the Company with an additional $2.7 million in funding to advance the development of the Company’s heat stabilized ricin toxin vaccine, RiVax™. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this report and is incorporated herein by reference.
