On August 12, 2015, the Board of Directors of P.A.M. Transportation Services, Inc. (the “Company”) appointed Matt Herndon, age 43, as Chief Operating Officer of the Company. He will serve in this capacity until such time as his successor shall be duly appointed and qualified or until his resignation or removal.
Mr. Herndon has served as the Vice President of Operations for the Company’s primary operating subsidiary, P.A.M. Transport, Inc. (“P.A.M. Transport”), since 2009. Prior to that time, he served as General Manager and Director of Operations for P.A.M. Transport and as an Operations Supervisor for Choctaw Express, a subsidiary of P.A.M. Transport that was acquired in 1995. Mr. Herndon joined Choctaw Express in September 1991.
There are no arrangements or understandings between him and any other person pursuant to which he was appointed, and he is not a party to any transaction with the Company that would require disclosure under Item 404(a) of Regulation S-K.
