Item 8.01 Other Events.
On August 17, 2015, HMN Financial, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Home Federal Savings Bank (the “Bank”), closed on the previously announced agreement to acquire certain assets and assume certain liabilities of Kasson State Bank.
A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
