Item 8.01 Other Items.
On August 3, 2015, Sorrento Therapeutics, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that it has entered into an exclusive licensing agreement to develop and commercialize multiple prespecified and undisclosed biosimilar or biobetter antibodies from Mabtech Limited, a holding company for premier antibody development and manufacturing companies in China. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
