Item 8.01 Other Events.
On July 9, 2015, Lennar Multifamily subsidiaries (together, “Lennar Multifamily”), each a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lennar Corporation, entered into a Limited Partnership Agreement of Lennar Multifamily Venture LP for the creation of a venture between Lennar Multifamily and global sovereign and institutional investors for the development of class-A multifamily assets in the United States (the “Venture”). Lennar Multifamily will manage the portfolio and contribute up to $504 million, comprised of cash and undeveloped multifamily assets, to the Venture. The Venture will have a three-year investment period and an eight-year term.
