ITEM 5.02 - DEPARTURE OF CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER; APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF RETAIL OFFICER
On July 6, 2015, Suffolk Bancorp (the "Company") announced that effective Friday, July 3, 2015, Frank D. Filipo retired as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company and its wholly owned subsidiary, Suffolk County National Bank (the "Bank"). Mr. Filipo served as Executive Vice President of the Company and the Bank since 2003 and was responsible for the Retail Banking Division since 2001.
The Company also announced that it has promoted Anita J. Nigrel as Executive Vice President and Chief Retail Officer to succeed Mr. Filipo.
The press release issued by the Company on July 6, 2015 announcing the foregoing is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1.
