SECTION 7 - REGULATION FD
Item 7.01 Regulation FD Disclosure.
On June 30, 2015, Gastar Exploration Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release providing an update on its operations in the Utica Shale. A copy of the Company's press release, dated June 30, 2015, is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
On July 1, 2015, the Company announced that it has declared a monthly cash dividend on its 8.625% Series A Preferred Stock and its 10.75% Series B Preferred Stock for July 2015. A copy of the Company's press release, dated July 1, 2015, is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.2 and is incorporated herein by reference.
