Item 8.01 Other Events.
On June 29, 2015, Intercept Pharmaceuticals, Inc. announced the submission of a New Drug Application for accelerated approval to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the acceptance of the Marketing Authorization Application by the European Medicines Agency for obeticholic acid in primary biliary cirrhosis.
