Item 8.01          Other Events

On June 16, 2015, NIC Inc. (the “Company”) was informed by the State of South Dakota Department of Public Safety (the “State”) that the decision has been made not to make an award of the State’s request for proposal, Solicitation #141 – Solicitation for a Self-Funded e-Government Services Master Contract.  The Company has been informed that the request for proposal has been withdrawn.  However, the Company remains actively engaged with the State regarding e-Government service opportunities.
