Humana Inc. (the “Company”) has recently received questions from analysts and investors regarding the potential for the Company to participate in industry consolidation, as well as the Company’s 2015 outlook. It is the Company’s long-standing policy not to comment on rumors or speculation regarding possible merger activity. The Company will address 2015 earnings guidance on its second quarter earnings conference call, scheduled for July 29, 2015.
As a result of the above, the Company will observe a “quiet period” beginning June 8, 2015, and lasting until publication of the Company’s second quarter 2015 earnings release.
