| Item 1.01 | Entry into a Material Definitive Agreement. |
On May 26, 2015, Far East Energy (Bermuda), Ltd. (“FEEB”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Far East Energy Corporation, entered into an Amendment Agreement (“Amendment”) to that certain Term Loan Facility Agreement (“Agreement”), dated as of February 24, 2015, by and among FEEB, as borrower, and the lenders party thereto, to extend the repayment date of the Agreement from May 26, 2015 to June 26, 2015.
The foregoing description of the Amendment does not purport to be complete and is qualified in its entirety by reference to the Amendment, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit 10.1, and the Agreement attached as Exhibit 10.1 to the Form 8-K filed on February 27, 2015, which are each incorporated herein by reference.
