On April 27, 2015, Jay Novak, the Chief Financial Officer of International Stem Cell Corporation (the “Company”) submitted his resignation from the Company, effective May 8, 2015. Mr. Novak is pursuing a new career opportunity in the biotechnology industry and has indicated that his resignation did not result from any disagreement with the Company’s operations, policies or practices. Mr. Novak has advised the Company that he will be available to assist with any transition once his successor has been identified by the Company.
