On April 22, 2015, NewMarket Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release regarding its earnings for the first quarter ended March 31, 2015. A copy of this press release is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 hereto and incorporated herein by reference.

Item 8.01. Other Events
On April 23, 2015, the Company issued a press release reporting that the Company’s Board of Directors had declared a dividend of $1.40 per share of the Company’s common stock, payable on July 1, 2015 to the Company’s shareholders of record as of June 15, 2015. A copy of this press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.2 and incorporated herein by reference.
