On April 23, 2015, Lipocine Inc., (the “Company”) commenced an underwritten public offering of its common stock pursuant to its effective shelf registration statement (File No. 333-199093) declared effective by the Securities and Exchange Commission on October 14, 2014.
On April 23, 2015, the Company issued a press release announcing the commencement of the offering. The text of the press release is included as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
