Item 8.01. Other Events.
Karen Peters, Executive Vice President of Retail and Wholesale for Vera Bradley, Inc., has accepted another position and will be leaving the Company effective April 24, 2015.
C. Roddy Mann will take on the role of Executive Vice President, Strategy and Business Development, and in this role will oversee the Sales organization. Mr. Mann has been with the Company for nearly ten years, most recently serving as Executive Vice President, Strategy and Operations and previously held a leadership role in the Sales organization. Mr. Mann will also continue to assist with marketing until a new Chief Marketing Officer is hired.
Ms. Peters will not receive a severance package since she voluntarily resigned.
