Item 8.01. Other Events.
On April 8, 2015, Sound Community Bank (the "Bank"), the wholly owned operating subsidiary of Sound Financial Bancorp, Inc. (the "Company"), announced the hiring of Elliott Pierce to serve as Senior Vice President, Chief Credit Officer of Sound Community Bank.
On April 13, 2015, the Company issued a press release announcing the appointment of Kathleen B. Cook to the Boards of Directors of the Company and the Bank. Mrs. Cook's appointment was initially reported by the Company under a Current Report on Form 8-K filed with the Securities Exchange Commission on April 2, 2015.
A copy of the press releases are attached to this Current Report as Exhibit 99.1 and 99.2, and incorporated herein by reference.
