Item 8.01. Other Events.
On March 31, 2015, Sun Bancorp, Inc. (the "Company"), announced that its wholly owned banking subsidiary, Sun National Bank, had agreed to sell one bank branch and related assets and liabilities to Cape Bank, and will consolidate nine other bank branches across seven counties in New Jersey. The Company's press release announcing these actions is attached as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
