Item 8.01 Other Events.
On March 26, 2015, The Children’s Place, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors (the “Board”) had approved Friday, May 22, 2015 as the date for the Company’s 2015 Annual Meeting of Stockholders (the “2015 Annual Meeting”). The record date for stockholders entitled to notice of and to vote at the 2015 Annual Meeting will be April 10, 2015.
The Board has determined that the advance notice window for stockholders to nominate directors and propose other business for consideration at the 2015 Annual Meeting will expire at the close of business on April 10, 2015.
A copy of a press release relating to the foregoing is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated in this Item 8.01 by reference.
