1 The per share data was derived by using the weighted average shares of FSIC II’s common stock outstanding during the applicable period. Per share numbers may not sum due to rounding.

2 The total return for the year ended December 31, 2014 was calculated by taking the net asset value per share as of December 31, 2014, adding the cash distributions per share which were declared during the year ended December 31, 2014 and dividing the total by the net asset value per share at the beginning of the year ended December 31, 2014. The total return does not consider the effect of the sales load from the sale of our common stock. The total return includes the effect of the issuance of shares at a net offering price that is greater than net asset value per share, which causes an increase in net asset value per share. The historical calculation of total return should not be considered a representation of our future total return, which may be greater or less than the return shown in the table due to a number of factors. The total return calculations set forth above represent the total return on our investment portfolio during the applicable period and are calculated in accordance with GAAP. These return figures do not represent an actual return to stockholders.

3 FSIC II’s gross portfolio yield prior to leverage (excluding non-income producing assets) represents the expected yield to be generated by FSIC II on the income producing assets in its investment portfolio based on the composition of its portfolio as of December 31, 2014. FSIC II’s gross portfolio yield does not represent an actual investment return to stockholders.
