Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On March 18, 2015, Chesapeake Lodging Trust (the “Trust”) announced that D. Rick Adams had been promoted to serve as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Trust, effective immediately. Adams, 51, previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of the Trust since February 2014, and previously served as Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of the Trust from November 2009 until January 2014. Information relating to the Trust’s executive compensation arrangements with Mr. Adams can be found in the Trust’s Form 8-K previously filed on January 30, 2015.
A copy of the Trust’s press release announcing the promotion described above is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this report and incorporated herein by reference.
