On March 17, 2015, SmartStop Self Storage, Inc. (the “Registrant”) issued a press release (the “Press Release”) announcing that Matt Lopez has been appointed to serve as the controller assigned to the Registrant’s two affiliated REITs, Strategic Storage Trust II, Inc. and Strategic Storage Growth Trust, Inc. A copy of the Press Release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated into this Item 7.01 by reference.
