On March 16, 2015, Capital Bank Financial Corp. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the planned early redemption of Contingent Value Rights issued to former shareholders of Southern Community Financial Corporation under the Contingent Value Rights Agreement dated October 1, 2012.
